NBC26 Storm Shield Weather Forecast

We'll slowly clear out the skies tonight with temps tumbling into the mid-20s. Thursday during the day looks cool, but dry with sunshine & highs in the mid/upper-30s. There won't be much wind, so wind chills shouldn't be a problem. A weak disturbance will move through the area Thursday night. This will also shift the winds bring a little bit of a lake component off of Lake Michigan. This could give areas, especially the farther you live to the east, some light, accumulating snow showers. Lows will be in the mid/upper 20s. Light snow & snow shower activity continues into Friday afternoon. Some minor accumulations are likely. Most spots will pick up a dusting to an inch of snow but locally higher amounts are possible towards the Lakeshore. Gusty winds will usher in much colder air by week's end. Along with the chilly temps we will also have a couple more of chances of light accumulating snow.
