Part 2 of 3- check my page for 1 and 3. For some reason to some people this is a controversial topic but it really shouldn't be because really all available evidence points to the fact that you don't want to be sharing equal carbs and fats in your diet. It would be a lot more beneficial for your mitochondria and metabolic processes to utilize much more of one than the other.

Also, insulin is necessary for life, it's not just bad hormone or something. You can lose weight by eating higher carb, it's just more difficult for some to succeed with that than others. The Randal cycle in particular is getting more attention as a solid explanation of why equal carbs and fats is problematic. Plenty of other observational, experimental, and mechanistic studies as well showing similar conclusions.

Message me if you want more info on that. There are some universal principles for weight loss but there are also a lot of individual differences that make a lot more of an impact than you would think and I'm here to help you find out what that is specifically for you.
