Orlando International Airport is moving toward a future with flying cars, seeking partners to develop a vertiport, a landing pad for electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft.

The airport aims to complete the project by 2028, with potential locations in the East Airfield or near the train station.
