Dear Pastor Bob: I have been a Christian for over 25 years. I am around many people in my church who seem to be truly happy. But I am not. I am a survivor of extreme emotional abuse growing up. Even though I have forgiven my family, I have never felt whole. I still struggle with the trauma of what was done to me all those years ago. It has shaped who I am. I’m am still wounded, generally confused, and I struggle with self worth to this day. How do I overcome my past and get free of this bondage?
