The Dominion Given

‘God said, ‘Let us make humankind in our image, in the likeness of ourselves; and let them rule over the fish in the sea, the birds in the air, the animals,
and over all the earth,
and over every crawling creature that crawls on the earth.’
So God created humankind in his own image,
in the image of God he created him, male and female he created them.”

He created man/woman as one and gave them purpose.

That purpose was to partner with Him by loving and honoring His creation

They (man/woman) (Humankind) were to have/take dominion and rule over all the earth (Hebrew: erets)

râḏâ; a primitive root word meaning (come to, make to) have dominion or rulership.

But we must understand that stewardship and protection from evil comes with righteous dominion and does not yield to the evil spirits.
Why do we say this? Dominion was given to every human being that walks the earth. When Humans yield their dominant authority over to evil spirits, wickedness grows, and sometimes, in history, evil covered the earth.

When the spirits of rebellion are called out on their illegal dominations, they have no choice but to obey the Word of YeHoVaH that comes from out of our mouths.
 
This is as much the word of YeHoVaH today as it was His word when He said it the first time. His great heart spoke these words, and He meant them forever. He will not negate these words since His integrity would be at stake, and YeHoVaH will not go there.

Since YeHoVaH has given us “rule” or “dominion,” He expects us to rule with the wisdom that we inherit from Him. If He or any of the spirit realm wants to invade or physically influence any part of the earth, we are to be consulted. Consider how He consulted Abraham about His plans for Sodom & Gomorrah or how He consulted Moses before annihilating all Israel off the face of the earth.

Between these two incidents and Yeshua there were many times that the studier of the scriptures can see that YeHoVaH never went against His word concerning human dominance of the earth.

Once Yehoshua came to the earth, YeHoVaH revealed the depth of importance to all believers that they might do what Yeshua did and more.

Yeshua shows His human dominance of the earth by healing the sick, raising the dead, multiplying loaves and fish, walking on water, calming the wind and waves, and many other “miracles” that amounted to Him having dominion over the earth. When you search the New Testament with this principle in mind, you will get excited.

John 17:1-4 (LITV)
Yeshua spoke these things and lifted up His eyes to Heaven,
and said, Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son,
that Your Son may also glorify You,
as You gave to Him authority over all flesh,
so that to all which You gave to Him,
He may give to them everlasting life.
And this is everlasting life, that they may know You,
the only true Elohim and Yeshua Messiah/Christ, whom You have sent.
I have glorified You on the earth.
I finished the work that You gave Me to do.
Yeshua haMashiach came to the earth to show us the person of the Father and the authority of the Father and the authority that the Father has given unto mankind. Yet, Yeshua added (by the will of the Father) an important ingredient to the power and authority of human dominion “over the all the earth.”

That important ingredient is faith. Faith has everything to do with our exercised authority “over the all the earth.” At the base of all that is earthy would be mountains, trees, winds, waves, weather, etc.

“He said, ‘Because of the littleness of your faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you.’”
Matthew 17:20
“Yeshua answered and said, ‘Amen I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ it will happen.’“
Matthew 21:21
“Amen, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will be to him.”
