•Modi's visit to the US was his first state visit as Indian Prime Minister. He had previously visited the US multiple times but for work purposes.

•The US wants to increase India's influence to counter China and Russia.

•India and the US agreed to open more consulates in each other's countries to facilitate visa processing and business. The US will now open consulates in Ahmedabad and Bangalore, while India will open two more in the US.

•The US included India in the Global Entry program which will make immigration faster for Indian travelers.

•H1B visa holders will now be able to renew their visas from the US, instead of having to return to India.

•An Indian company will invest $850 million to set up a chip manufacturing facility in Gujarat, India's first.

•India and the US resolved 6 trade disputes between them. The US removed duties on Indian steel and aluminum while India removed duties on US apples and chickpeas.

• An Indian company will invest $1.5 billion in the US solar industry.

• The US agreed for engine assembly of Tejas fighter planes to be done in India.

• India will buy 31 Sea Guardian drones from the US for $3 billion.

• مودی کا امریکہ کا دورہ بھارتی وزیر اعظم کے طور پر ان کی پہلی ریاستی دورہ تھا۔ پہلے بھی وہ کئی مرتبہ کام کے مقاصد کے لئے امریکہ گئے تھے۔

• امریکہ چاہتا ہے کہ چین اور روس کے مقابلے میں بھارت کی روشنی بڑھائی جائے۔

• بھارت اور امریکہ متفق ہو گئے ہیں کہ دوسرے کے ملکوں میں مزید قونصلیٹس کھولے جائیں تاکہ ویزہ کی پروسیسنگ اور کاروبار کی سہولت فراہم ہو۔ امریکہ اب احمد آباد اور بنگلور میں قونصلیٹس کھولے گا، جبکہ بھارت امریکہ میں اور دو قونصلیٹس کھولے گا۔

• ایک بھارتی کمپنی نے گجرات، بھارت میں ایک چپ منوفیکچرنگ فیسلٹی قائم کرنے کے لئے 8.5 ارب ڈالر کا سرمایہ کاری کرنے کا اعلان کیا ہے، جو بھارت کی پہلی منوفیکچرنگ فیسلٹی ہوگی۔

• بھارت امریکہ سے 31 سی گارڈین ڈرون خریدے گا جس کی قیمت 3 ارب ڈالر ہوگی۔
