For some reason to some people this is a controversial topic but it really shouldn't be because really all available evidence points to the fact that you don't want to be sharing equal carbs and fats in your diet. It would be a lot more beneficial for your mitochondria and metabolic processes to utilize much more of one than the other. Babies are an example of the fact that equal parts carbs and fats can make you game more fat but also my adult clients and a lot of other practitioners clients for weight loss have seen the exact same thing happen in adults.
