Cayo Levantado, Rincón Beach, Samaná Travel Vlog: Dominican Republic [Flokossama]

Welcome to my Samaná & Cayo Levantado, Rincón Beach Vlog from the Dominican Republic.

Our adventure began with a daring tender boat ride to Samaná, probably the most dangerous thing we did on this trip. While buying data at a restaurant, we met a local guide who offered to show us around. He arranged a boat through someone he knew, promising to take us to two islands in one day - an opportunity not possible through the cruise.

Our first stop was Cayo Levantado, a stunning island off the Samaná Peninsula. We grabbed fresh coconut water and explored souvenir stalls to capture its highlights. Next, we journeyed toward Rincón Beach. The driver claimed to have a taxi, but it turned out to be his friends driving us. They were super friendly and the drive offered breathtaking views. We passed endless palm trees and even saw bulls casually strolling on the street. A fun fact from my childhood: I used to climb palm trees to get coconuts.

Finally, we arrived at Rincón Beach, the most beautiful beach I have ever seen. There is a river called Caño Frío nearby where you can swim. Our time at the beach was cut short to avoid missing the last tender back to the cruise.

For travelers, I recommend having a clear agreement when using non-official taxis or guides to avoid misunderstandings. We almost missed the last tender; luckily, one tender was waiting at the dock.
