Response: Nephi Drove Away the Spirit of the Lord (Unshaken & Hardy)

Grant Hardy, Jared Halverson, and others asserts that the Nephi drove away the Spirit of the Lord (1 Nephi 11) by asking for an interpretation of his father's dream (1 Nephi 8) instead of asking to taste the fruit.
