I was 10 years old in 1961. The Kennedys had cut a record of what went on in the Kennedy White House.

Oh, didn’t I say. It was a comedy group called the Kennedys in the White House.

The only place anybody could listen to the Kennedys impressions was on the local radio station.

Even at that, I don’t believe it’s power was not much more 5,000 Watts.

So the AM station would wobble, during the evening hours. in and out according to the ionosphere weather.

I remember laughing with my entire family. Even though my parents voted against Kennedy the Catholic and they were Protestant Nazarenes.

But we all, could laugh at the good clean humor of 1961. The clone of JFK look a like died on November 22, 1963.

The Satanic Revival music was just around the corner to play on the airwaves.

With Kennedys out of way; and for multiple other reasons. The Satanic Revival could go full steam ahead. War and 50,000 US dead 2,000,000 Vietnamese, South Koreans and Laotians, and maybe more from the political disruption.

By 1967 LSD was in, certain parts of the United States in High Schools. The marijuana at the time was heavily sprayed with herbicide and poor in THC concentrations.

It was drugs sex and rock n roll in the materium. And the people who knew said things like “Be Here Now”.

And I didn’t learn the importance of be here now until I was 60 years old. And I’m still learning the lesson of being present in the moment.
