president Trump insistets the US pretty close to a deal with Ukraine

President Trump has again insisted that the US is "pretty close to a deal" on minerals with Ukraine and that the war has "gotta end."

He also hit out at Joe Biden for "getting us into this thing in the first place" and said that he is determined to get the money back spent on the conflict so far, at the annual Conservative Political Action Conference.

"I think we're pretty close to a deal and we better be close to a deal because that has been a horrible situation. It would never have happened if I were president," he said.
