Open Access Publishing : A Corrupt Agenda

My publishing career and experience as Chief Editor of a high-ranking oncology review journal has given me unique insights into the complexity and challenges associated with the peer-reviewed academic literature. Despite my years of analysing and interpreting clinical data, I started to become troubled by the underlying conflicts of interest, control, and corrupt influences within the seemingly benign and well-intended infrastructure underpinning the publication of clinical research.

I discuss the covert links between the funding of scientific research, the revenue models of publishing, and corporate influences, which collectively have fostered the adoption of open-access publishing. Ultimately, the integrity of science has been eroded and hijacked by organisations intent on data falsification and manipulation, and the censorship of honest scientists who do not conform with the globalist corporate agendas.

In May 2023, an event was held in London titled "Time to Discuss: WEF, Net Zero, ULEZ, CBDC, the Great Reset: Are they All Connected?". This debate highlighted that these separate freedom-eroding global initiatives are all connected under the guise of a 'green' agenda. Those at the top of the power pyramid control the levers (e.g. WEF, WHO, and IMF), and have bought and control the mainstream media, extinguishing true facts and data. The globalist elites believe we have no right to individual autonomy, privacy, or liberty. Removing cash is pivotal to their agenda because digital currency is an enslavement mechanism. Your digital footprint will be used against you in a China-style social credit system. The technologies and infrastructures for this control are already in place; however, this global dystopia cannot succeed without the ubiquitous installation of 5G masts and facial-recognition cameras. Herein, I discuss the health, travel, control, and environmental implications of 5G, and the importance of grass-roots initiatives to thwart this enslavement.

Biography
Lisa is an experienced editor with a proven track record in STEM publishing. She has over 17 years’ experience in academic publishing, particularly clinical oncology. Lisa graduated with a first-class BSc Honours degree in biochemistry from University College London and, in 2000, gained her PhD from the Institute of Cancer Research (Royal Marsden Hospital). Following her PhD, Lisa embarked on an editorial career, with her first post as Journal Editor of Breast Cancer Research. She then joined Wells Healthcare Ltd, a medical communications agency gaining experience in commercial services. In 2004, she was appointed Chief Editor of Nature Reviews Clinical Oncology, published by the world-renowned Nature Publishing Group (NPG). Lisa helped establish Nature Reviews Clinical Oncology as the top review journal in clinical oncology. During her career, she has authored over 300 research highlights, contributed multiple authoritative editorials, given numerous presentations, and commissioned forward-thinking articles to serve busy clinicians beyond traditional reviews. Since 2018, Lisa has been a freelance editor, writer, and consultant.
