54 Ince Water Main Bursts In Detroit, Mi

A 4 1/2 foot water main has burst in Detroit, Michigan. The 54-inch steel pipe, water main (originally built in the 1930s) burst mid-day on Monday. One hospitalization was reported, but other than that no one was injured. However 200 homes were damaged due to the flooding.

Mayor Mike Duggan said during a press conference Monday morning, that a temporary shelter had been set up for those who have been impacted.
