Rear Admiral (Ret.) Chuck Kubic – Biography
Rear Admiral Chuck Kubic, USN (Ret.), is a distinguished military leader, engineer, and national security expert with over 32 years of service in the U.S. Navy Civil Engineer Corps. He has a proven record of combat leadership within the Navy and Marine Corps, having commanded Navy Seabees at every level—Company, Detachment, Battalion, Regiment, Brigade, and Division.
In 2002-2004, he served concurrently as Commander of the 1st Naval Construction (Seabee) Division and the 1st Marine Expeditionary Force Engineer Group during Operation Iraqi Freedom, a mission chronicled in his book, Bridges to Baghdad.
Following his military service, Admiral Kubic founded Kubic Engineer Group (KEG) in 2012, specializing in global engineering projects, including operations in contingency and remote environments. From 2017-2021, KEG played a key role in the construction of 145 miles of Border Wall across California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas.
A trusted voice in national security, Admiral Kubic was selected in 2016 to serve as a National Security Policy Advisorto Donald J. Trump and later appointed to the National Security Advisory Council. He has been a prominent advocate for “Peace through Strength,” appearing in print, TV, and radio to support rebuilding the U.S. military and refocusing U.S. foreign policy.
His expertise extends beyond the military—he is an international businessman, engineer, and policy strategist. He previously served as President of ECC International (2005-2012) and was selected in 1985 as a White House Fellow, working on President Reagan’s Domestic Policy Council.
Admiral Kubic holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Lehigh University, where he graduated at the top of his class in 1972. He is also an alumnus of the Advanced Management Program at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania (1995). In 2011, he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Engineering from Lehigh University.
A licensed Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania and Virginia, he is a Fellow of the Society of American Military Engineers and a member of Phi Beta Kappa. His lifetime achievements were recognized in 2013 with the Sigma Phi Epsilon Citation Award.
In 2024, he was honored as a Distinguished Eagle Scout and remains actively involved in Scouting America, recently serving as President of the Tidewater Virginia Council. He also sits on the Board of Directors for the Adelphoi Foundation, supporting at-risk youth.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Admiral Kubic enjoys skiing, scuba diving, golf, and international travel. He currently serves as the National Spokesman for Veterans for America First (VFAF), continuing his lifelong commitment to national security and service.
