LEAVING BEHIND A TRUE LEGACY OF LOVE IN CHRIST

1 John 3:11 New King James Version
11 For this is the message that you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another,

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA MY PRECIOUS FRIENDS!!!
I have to say guys, I found this concept, this tradition of “dotstadning”, rather interesting, especially what it really means in “death cleaning”, because I think it is important that we clean things out of our lives. Things that have no use in the eternal realm, but most of all in this cleaning that we make sure we're leaving behind a legacy of godliness, honor, integrity, and genuine love for others. I think that's why I'm so challenged by not only what Kenneth Peterson, this morning's devotional writer was sharing out of this morning's scripture and devotional, but also the questions that were posed from it today. I'm especially really thinking about this first question, because I want to make sure that people truly see Christ in me. So I ask you this question, and I pray that God speaks to you through it.

How do your family and friends see your love for Jesus demonstrated?

Tonight, my friends, I'd like to share some things that God has been showing me on the issue of showing love to others, leaving behind a real legacy of true love in Jesus to everyone around me, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that what I share with you challenges you to want to show and live out the love you say you have for Christ. So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to leave you with this final question from this morning's devotional, and I pray that it challenges and motivates you to want to show that love.

How might you share that love more openly?

I want to challenge you guys to think about all the things that you are going to leave behind in your life after you're gone, and ask yourself, “What is the most important legacy that I can leave behind?” I believe that's none other than your love for Jesus. That what survives you, isn't just money, inheritance, charitable giving, or anything superficial, but what you do for Jesus Christ. Will your family and loved ones remember you as someone who loved Jesus with all their heart? I pray that they will remember you as someone who did love Jesus with everything possible, because I believe that's the best gift of all time. It's a gift that you can leave behind without any form of manipulation, and shows Christ Jesus truly in you.
