The first Nobody ends with Hutch, David (Lloyd), and Harry (RZA) taking down a swarm of Russian mobsters before Hutch is briefly taken into custody. He's quickly released after a mysterious phone call, and another call during his house-hunting hints that he's not done with his assassin lifestyle. A mid-credits scene further teases future events, showing David and Harry, heavily armed, heading off on a secret mission.

Nobody 2 might pick up directly from where the first left off. While plot details are still under wraps, one thing is certain—there will be plenty of action. Director Timo Tjahjanto, known for The Night Comes for Us (2018) and The Shadow Strays (2024), both packed with intense, The Raid-style action, promises to bring even more high-octane sequences. With Bob Odenkirk undergoing intense training and Tjahjanto’s dynamic direction, Nobody 2 could surpass the original in sheer action.

Although the first film was praised by critics and resonated with audiences, Tjahjanto has hinted at some fresh changes for the sequel. Speaking to Empire, he revealed that Nobody 2 abandons the "drab, gloomy factory/warehouse" look of the first film in favor of a "much more summery and colorful" aesthetic.

The sequel also introduces a new kind of villain. Tjahjanto described Stone’s character, Lendina, as an "alpha female" who’s "completely batsh*t crazy," offering a fresh dynamic for the sequel. With its mix of the original’s winning formula and bold new elements, Nobody 2 is shaping up to be an even more thrilling ride.
