The First and Last Enslavement of Israel (Extended Version)

IN MY OWN PERSONAL OPINION, the daughter of Pharaoh that adopted Moses in Exodus 2:10 was most likely Sobekneferu, the daughter of Amenemhet III, the 6th pharaoh of the 12 dynasty who, for a time, co-reigned with his father, Sesostris III; one of them (Amenemhet III or Sesostris III) would've been the pharaoh who ordered the Egyptian midwives to kill the Hebrew babies if they were male (Exodus 1:22), but after being adopted by Sobekneferu as her own son and Amenemhet III's grandson, Moses would have been groomed to be the next pharaoh, Amenemhet IV. Amenemhet III did not have any sons and he needed an heir to continue the 12th dynasty; women did not normally become pharaohs. If Moses was Amenemhet IV, he may have co-reigned with Amenemhet III for 9 years according to the Turin King List; Amenemhet IV never reigned by himself. When Amenemhet III died, Sobekneferu--the first female pharaoh of ancient Egypt--had to assume the throne as there were no other heirs to the throne, which begs the question: what happened to Amenemhet IV? When Sobekneferu died after reigning for only 4 years (possibly 8 years according to the Turin King List), the 12th dynasty ended. The sudden disappearance of Amenemhet IV at the end of the 12th dynasty and the absence of any Egyptian birth records as to the ancestry of Amenemhet IV supports the possibility that Amenemhet IV was Moses. Amenemhet I (the 1st pharaoh of the 12th dynasty) was the vizier of Mentuhotep IV (the last pharaoh of the 11th dynasty, the last dynasty to treat Israel kindly) and he may have even assassinated Mentuhotep IV to take power. This is likely the time of Exodus 1:8-13 "Now there arose up a new king over Egypt, which knew not Joseph. And he said unto his people, Behold, the people of the children of Israel are more and mightier than we: come on, let us deal wisely with them.... Therefore they did set over them taskmasters to afflict them with their burdens.... And the Egyptians made the children of Israel to serve with rigour: and they made their lives bitter with hard bondage, in morter, and in brick, and in all manner of service in the field: all their service, wherein they made them serve, was with rigour." The 12th dynasty pyramids, unlike pyramids of earlier dynasties, were made of mubricks and only had a limestone veneer on the outside. The seven great pyramids of the 12th dynasty were constructed over a 200 year period and each of them contained millions of mudbricks. Amenemhet III made two pyramids and his pyramid at Hawara was the last of the Great Pyramids to be built. The Israelites were the large slave labour force used to make mudbricks for the building exploits of the 12th dynasty. If Moses was Amenemhet IV, when he saw the suffering of his people and killed the Egyptian he saw beating one of them in Exodus 2:11-12, it would've been Amenemhet III who tried to kill him for it in Exodus 2:15. Moses' sudden flight to Midian to escape pharaoh's wrath would explain Amenemhet IV's sudden disappearance from Egyptian records. Sobekhotep I began the 13th dynasty but the pharaohs of the 13th dynasty tended to change quickly and only had short reigns. One of the longest reigning pharaohs of the 13th dynasty, Neferhotep I (who reigned for 11 years) was likely reigning when Moses returned to Egypt from Midian; he would've been the pharaoh whose heart was hardened (Exodus 7), who suffered through the 10 plagues. The slave villages of Kahun and Tel ed-Daba were occupied until the time of Neferhotep I. Scarabs of the 12th and 13th dynasty pharaohs from Sesostris II to Neferhotep I were found at Kahun indicating that it was Neferhotep I who was reigning when the First Exodus occurred. Neferhotep I has all of the necessary credentials to be the Pharaoh of the Exodus in that he was reigning at the right time, his body/mummy was never found and he had a son but his son did not succeed him. Neferhotep I was succeeded by his brother Sobekhotep IV who would not have normally been next in line to the throne except for the fact that Neferhotep I's firstborn son, Haankhef was killed in the last of the ten plagues that befell Egypt. After letting Israel go, Pharaoh (Neferhotep I) changed his mind and pursued the Israelites. Thanks to YAH, the Israelites were able to miraculously cross the Red Sea (the Gulf of Aqaba) on dry ground but Pharaoh (Neferhotep I) and his army were drowned when they tried to follow (Exodus 14); this would explain why Neferhotep I's body/mummy has never been found. Again, ALL OF THIS IS MY OWN PERSONAL OPINION. Selah.

Ezekiel 16:4-8 "...in the day you (Jerusalem/Yisrael) were born your navel was not cut, neither were you washed in water to supple you; you were not salted at all, nor swaddled at all. None eye pitied you, to do any of these unto you, to have compassion upon you; but you were cast out in the open field, to the lothing of your person, in the day that you were born. And when I passed by you, and saw you polluted in your own blood, I said unto you when you were in your blood, Live; yea, I said unto you when you were in your blood, Live. I have caused you to multiply as the bud of the field, and you have increased and waxen great, and you are come to excellent ornaments: your breasts are fashioned, and your hair is grown, whereas you were naked and bare. Now when I passed by you, and looked upon you, behold, your time was the time of love; and I spread My skirt over you, and covered your nakedness: yea, I sware unto you, and entered into a covenant with you, says YAH ALMIGHTY, and you became Mine." However, despite belonging to YAH, Israel is a nation that has been enslaved since its birth unto the present day. Jeremiah 2:14 "Is Israel a servant? Is he a homeborn slave? Why is he spoiled?" Well, the question posed in Jeremiah 2:14 is answered in Jeremiah 2:11-13 "...My people (Israel) have changed their glory for that which does not profit. Be astonished, O you heavens, at this, and be horribly afraid, be you very desolate, says YAH. For My people have committed two evils; they have forsaken Me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water." After our first enslavement in ancient Egypt, Israel should've never been enslaved again, but they chose to break their covenant with YAH rather than keep it--they chose death rather life (Deuteronomy 30:15-18) and the Curses of the covenant rather than the Blessings (Leviticus 26 and Deuteronomy 28). Nevertheless, YAH has tremendous love, favor and devotion toward us Israelites/black slave descendants and that is undeniable; after thousands of years of exile/captivity, oppression and genocide, we still exist because of YAH's love, favor and devotion toward us. Malachi 3:6-7 "...I am YAH, I change not; therefore you sons of Jacob are not consumed. Even from the days of your fathers you are gone away from Mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto Me, and I will return unto you, says YAH of hosts. But you said, Wherein shall we return?" The Israelites/black slave descendants are lost (i.e. the lost sheep of the house of Israel), but as YAH promises Israel everlasting salvation after their shame and confoundment/confusion in Isaiah 45:16-17, Isaiah 61:7 goes on to say, "For your shame you shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them." To all of my fellow Israelites/black slave descendants who are scattered worldwide, if we want the Curses of Leviticus 26:14-39 and Deuteronomy 28:15-68 to be lifted--if we want to return to the promised land as a sovereign nation and no longer live in the lands of our enemies under their oppression, then we must return to YAH. Jeremiah 29:11-14 "...I know the thoughts that I think toward you (Israel), says YAH, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall you call upon Me, and you shall go and pray unto Me, and I will hearken unto you. And you shall seek Me, and find Me, when you shall search for Me with all your heart. And I will be found of you, says YAH: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, says YAH; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive."
