When we speak on Hip Hop Inception every one speak about The Bronx, Harlem, Brooklyn, Queens, then comes the others parts of New York.
Well Mt.Vernon sits right besides the Bronx connecting these 2 together.

Well The Collins Brothers are from Mt. Vernon and they were the ones who set it off for others that follow when it came to them 1st being mobile DJs who had their own location on 4th Street Park early on.

Then when the scene changed and became more Hip Hop the Collins Brothers was there to change within the Culture of Hip Hop as yes they had emcees also.

And they were well respected among their peers. Grand mixer DST aka DXT also champions his skills on the turntable and his group the Infinity MC’c started doing events with the Collins Brothers.

Respectfully Mark Collins and The Collins Brothers are part of the culture we call Hip Hop.
