MIchael "Rocket' Blackstone, a 40 year aviator, aerobatic warbird instructor pilot, tailwheel pilot and Boeing 777 airline pilot describes what he believes to be the UNOFFICIAL LIKELY causes of Delta 4819 (Endeavor) on the 17th of February 2025 in Toronto, Canada. We now know that the likely pilot of the aircraft was Miss Kendal Michelle Swanson who received her ATP on 1/9/2025. It is also believed that she may have been operating this flight as a student of a simulator instructor who was out of currency and was in need of recent flying on the line. This is all very preliminary and the opinions presented here are my own based on my personal flying experiences over the last 27 years as a current airline pilot and someone with vast amounts of experience flying many types of aircraft all over the world.
