As he endures inhumane conditions, torture, and corruption, he desperately plans his escape.
The movie is known for its intense realism, psychological horror, and haunting soundtrack (by Giorgio Moroder). It became highly controversial for its depiction of Turkish prisons, leading to criticism from Turkey for its harsh portrayal.
