AR-0133: Another one of the many films that Eastern European B-grade studio BUFO [the former UFO] made for the Sci-Fi Channel for their television programming purposes [yep, those infamous "Sci-Fi Originals"], this is a rather standard World War II Dirty Dozen knock-off, but with the convicts here taking on near-i destructible Nazi mutants that use atomic radiation as their idea of gym steroids...

When compared with regular WWII B-movies, this one ranks fairly low on the scale, but for a Sci-Fi Channel Original it isn't too bad - it might not be anything more than throwaway junk but at least you can watch it without needing a mental workout, it gets the period details right [yes, the Germans actually did use Russian tanks for themselves] and it does exactly what it says on the tin. The German Incredible Hulk here looks like it was ripped off a PS2 game, but the CGI here is a step up from something like "Mindstorm" from earlier in the decade.

My Grade: D+ [Disappointing]
