The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) is the aerial warfare branch of the Pakistan Armed Forces, responsible for defending national airspace and supporting military operations. Established in 1947, it has played a key role in regional conflicts and counter-terrorism efforts. The PAF operates a diverse fleet, including the JF-17 Thunder, co-developed with China, the F-16 Fighting Falcon, a U.S.-made multirole fighter, and the J-10C, a modern 4.5-generation aircraft from China. It also uses Mirage III/V fighters, F-7PG interceptors, C-130 Hercules transport aircraft, and airborne early warning systems like the Saab 2000 and ZDK-03 Karakoram Eagle.
