Rep. James Comer exposes China’s secret influence over US universities

House Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-KY) says his investigation into the Biden family uncovered that a significant portion of the University of Pennsylvania’s budget—a school that employed President Joe Biden and former State Secretary Anthony Blinken during Trump’s first term—was funded by anonymous Chinese government sources. “I believe that one reason our universities have gotten so pitiful is because of the influx of Chinese money,” he says. “So we’re going to try to identify how much we’re talking about here, which universities are the worst offenders, and see if the universities will answer the question—’Who in China is donating this money?’”
