Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio are both A-list heart throbs and the stars of Quentin Tarantino's new flick Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.

And Pitt had a funny excuse for why it took so long for the superstars to collaborate during a chat with Extra during the film's red carpet premier on Monday.

'Yeah, I had a restraining order against him for a while… incident in '94 we don't like to talk about,' the ex of Jennifer Aniston joked about DiCaprio. This comes as it was revealed that DiCaprio earned an impressive $15million for the film - a $5m pay cut from his usual quote of $20m.
Though DiCaprio's upfront fee was a bit shy of his normal rate, he still stands to earn quite the pretty penny via the back-end profits from ticket sales and other profit. The Titanic lead could stand to make as much at $45million if the film 'meets expectations.

Earlier reports from Variety pegged both Leo and Brad at $10million per project.

And Leo's association with the film may be worth its weight in gold, according to THR.

'What is remarkable about Leo is his consistency,' Sony film chief Tom Rothman told the industry rag.

'If he's in it, the audience knows it's going to be good because he's in it. I mean, when is he not great? But that's not an accident. He works his a** off.'
