On Monday, President Donald Trump slammed GQ correspondent Julia Ioffe for saying earlier in the day that he has “radicalized so many more people than ISIS ever did” — a comment for which she later apologized.
Ioffe has been making headlines over the past week, not only connecting Trump’s rhetoric to the Pittsburgh synagogue shooting this past weekend, but also for her comment Mondayon CNN that the president has driven more people to extremes than ISIS ever has. Laura Ingraham brought up Ioffe’s initial comments (but not her apology) during her Fox News interview with the president on Monday night, and the Commander-in-Chief responded that Ioffe “must be some kind of a sick woman.”
