Throw back Thursday: For Gunners birthday I will post this short video of his first attempt at standing. It was 4:15am and 23 degrees outside. I put Tri in a large stall but she was having no part of being locked up. She busted down the door 3 times. It was getting dangerous for her and the goal. I turned her into the backyard away from the other horses. She had the baby under my bedroom window. I was able to video the entire birth. Such a miracle. When I saw that she had to livered him safely, I slipped down the steps and Neil down beside her. I told her it was just me, and that she had done a wonderful job. She let out a big sigh and laid-back or well-deserved rest. She was one of the best mothers, she never complained about anything I did with Gunner. I brought him off as best I could. And touched every part of his body. He breathed my breath before he did Tri’s.
