We also added beef broth, tomato juice, carrots, onions, celery, frozen peas, frozen green beans, frozen corn, frozen lima beans, salt, pepper and bay leaves. We enjoyed it for supper, canned 5 qts, put some in the freezer and had in the fridge for another meal. The quiches and apple goodies are other delicious foods we had this week.
