When the hostages were taken my main concern was for their release. I couldn't understand how they would survive the bombing that killed 46000 people, and injured 101,000 people. Gaza is a small strip. Then there was the lack of food, water, sanction and destruction of hospitals and lack of medicines. To my mind the delay in ceasefire agreements would only put the hostages in greater danger and I felt no efforts were being made by Israel to obtain their release.

True Jews would have helped the Palestinians evolve and share in their fortunes, like we did for centuries in the Arab world. Israel claims it is defending itself? Against whom? The people they have been displacing and oppressing for 80 years?
