John Le Carré Speech (2013) Oxford University German Olympiad awards

Tuesday 18 June 2013 saw the official launch of the Oxford German Network and the awards ceremony for the first ever Oxford German Olympiad.

In his speech, John Le Carré talks about his love for the German language, and his meeting with Thomas Mann (German novelist, short story writer, social critic, philanthropist, essayist, and the 1929 Nobel Prize in Literature laureate).
