Original Watercolor by Long Time Teacher Carolyn Reeder of Northwood, Iowa

Artist Carolyn Reeder (1950 -    ) of Northwood, Iowa, taught school for 34 years and was last associated with the Central Springs Community School District of Manly, Iowa. This original watercolor of a farmstead set among a hilly pine forrest is housed under glass in a 12" x 15" x 3/4" blue wood frame.

The back of the 2 pound frame is covered with kraft paper, with a upper white and black label containing the artist's name and lower silver and blue label indicating it was framed by a Hobby Lobby. The top has a metal sawtooth hanger bracket and each corner has a 1/8" thick round light tan felt bumper pad.
