Meth and Rabies: Musk Mocks Left’s ‘Irrational’ Meltdown Over His Trump Alliance

D.C. (Dist. of Criminals), February 18, 2025 — Once a darling of the left, Elon Musk now openly ridicules his former allies, saying they’ve become “completely irrational” since he aligned himself with President Donald Trump.

During a joint Fox News interview with Trump, Musk reflected on his political shift and the backlash he’s received.

‘Like They Got Shot With a Dart Containing Meth and Rabies’
“I used to be adored by the left,” Musk told Fox News host Sean Hannity. “But I happened to mention the president’s name at a dinner party, and it was like they got shot with a dart in the jugular that contained methamphetamine and rabies.”

Musk laughed as he described the “hysterical” reaction from former liberal friends, saying they are now incapable of holding “a normal conversation” and have abandoned any pretense of rational thought.

Musk and Trump Tackle Government Waste
The wide-ranging interview—set to air Tuesday night—marks the first joint television appearance of Trump and Musk since the president’s return to the White House. Among the topics discussed was the ongoing work of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), the unofficial agency Musk helps lead in rooting out corruption and bureaucratic waste.

Trump confirmed that Musk will soon turn his attention to the Pentagon, which has failed multiple audits and continues to hemorrhage taxpayer dollars with little accountability.

Critics Panic Over DOGE’s Expanding Role
Musk’s growing influence in dismantling bloated federal agencies has triggered panic among Democrats and entrenched bureaucrats, who are now questioning the legality of mass firings and department shutdowns under DOGE. Critics argue that as an unelected “special government employee,” Musk should not have the power to oversee sweeping structural changes without congressional oversight.

Despite the outrage from the left, both Musk and Trump remain unfazed.

“The people elected me to fix this mess,” Trump declared. “And Elon is doing exactly what needs to be done.”
