I was dumb farmer as the saying goes in 1965 and 1966 I was 14 and 15 years of age.
I worked on our neighbors Dairy Farm. Of course they had dairy cows they farmed just about everything dairy cows ate.
We also farmed Kansas Wheat.

I was amazed when the farmer told me to take two discs wide off of every field farmed for wheat.

The farmers then could say they destroyed so many acres of wheat and the government would recompense the farmers for the destruction of the wheat.
