Some dismiss the Bible because it is "old." They will derisively claim that it belongs to an ancient era when people were not as intelligent or enlightened as we are. Our technology and tall buildings proves that we've grown beyond the silly superstition of having to follow the rules of some magic 'Sky Dad'.

Unfortunately for the doubting, the many seasons of Creation have proven that God's word contains more than ancient instructions in a faraway land. In fact, civilizations who dismiss God's Word tend to collapse as God dismisses them.

For believers today, there has never been a better time to turn to the wisdom and instruction of God's Word as a roadmap for our lives. When we take the instructions issued to us at face value, we find ourselves making the right choices. Even when we experience setbacks and frustrations, we know that God can still deliver and guide us.

God instructs Joshua in Joshua 1:7-8 to make the Word the foundation of his decisions and all he does, promising that success will follow. Imagine God making the same promise to you.
