Sometimes it pays to say no, regardless of the pressures, opinions or actions of all of those surrounding you.

Today I share a story from my Granddad, David Shaw. He was a legend of a man, was in Bomber Command, flew at least 35 missions during WW2, won the Distinguished Flying Cross (DFC) and lived to the age of 94.

He was a modest man but once shared a rare story of his time in the forces during WW2.

This was one of the many gems he shared and holds a very valuable lesson for us all.
