Walking in Faith
Today we turn to the sacred readings and on the feast days of the saints, and draw spiritual nourishment from the wisdom of Holy Scripture. May this time of meditation strengthen our souls and guide us toward holiness.

Epistle: 2 Corinthians 6:1-10
"Behold, now is the acceptable time; behold, now is the day of salvation."
St. Paul exhorts us to live as faithful servants of God, enduring trials and sufferings with patience. He reminds us that though we may be sorrowful, we are always rejoicing, for our hope is in Christ. This passage calls us to examine our spiritual preparedness are we truly living in a way that reflects our calling as Catholics?
Gospel: Mark 6:1-6
"And He wondered because of their unbelief."
Jesus returns to His hometown of Nazareth, but the people refuse to believe in Him. Their lack of faith prevents them from receiving the miracles He could have performed. This passage warns us of the dangers of spiritual complacency do we sometimes reject Christ’s workings in our lives due to doubt or pride?

Theme & Reflection of the Day
The central theme today is faith and receptivity to God’s grace. The people of Nazareth rejected Christ because of their familiarity with Him, and their disbelief closed the door to His miracles. Likewise, we must be careful not to fall into routine or skepticism in our spiritual lives.
St. Paul’s letter reminds us that today is the day of salvation. Now is the time to embrace God's grace, to repent of our sins, and to prepare ourselves spiritually. St. Simeon, who suffered greatly for the faith, reminds us that perseverance in trials is the mark of a true disciple.
Our Lady’s apparitions at Lourdes reinforce the call to repentance and the power of faith. Are we truly seeking conversion with sincerity?

Quote of the Day
"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and forever." – Hebrews 13:8
This verse reminds us that Christ’s power and love never change. If we open our hearts to Him with faith, He will work in our lives just as He did for those who believed in Him during His earthly ministry.

Concluding Prayer
O Lord, strengthen our faith so that we may never be counted among those who rejected You. Open our hearts to receive Your grace, that we may truly live as Your disciples. Through the intercession of St. Simeon, St. Bernadette, and all the saints, grant us the courage to persevere in holiness. May our hearts be filled with love for You, and may we always recognize the day of our salvation.
We ask this through Christ Our Lord. Amen.
