Tom Hanks SNL BACKFIRE! Donald Trump BROKE Celebrities & Entertainment

The 50th Anniversary of Saturday Night Live decided to take the opportunity not to celebrate the half century of less than stellar comedic quality and the stars that have helped them along the way, but instead double down on the unpopular sentiments that have driven their ratings into the ground. Getting Tom Hanks to reprise his character from 2016, a over-the-top version of a Southern Trump supporter and while the original portrayal was funny and well intentioned, the 2025 version was mean spirited and vindictive. Hollywood has not learned from their resounding defeat in November and are doubling down on everything that made them so unpopular.

The only industry in worse shape is Gaming with Kinda Funny host Greg Miller boldly going where every other hack has gone before by denouncing the President and Elon Musk in an ideologically captive auditorium surrounded by a group of people who hate their industry.

The gap between the audience/consumer and creator/celebrity has never been bigger and it will only continue to grow as we move forward.
