Voices of the Wind

Through the ancient hills they call,
Whispers soft on midnight’s breath,
Echoes rise then gently fall,
Tales of life and silent death.

Dancing leaves in moon’s embrace,
Carry secrets old and deep,
Shadows move with haunting grace,
Guarding memories they keep.

Oh, voices of the wind,
Whispering through time’s veil,
Songs of where it all begins,
In legends long and frail.

Once forgotten, now retold,
Words that wander through the night,
Chilling warmth in stories old,
Guided by the pale starlight.

Hear the murmur through the trees,
Feel the ancient spirits near,
In the sigh of every breeze,
Their mysteries we hear.

Oh, voices of the wind,
Whispering through time’s veil,
Songs of where it all begins,
In legends long and frail.

When the dawn begins to sing,
And shadows fade away,
Still their echoes softly cling,
In the wind… they stay.
