Call of the Wild
In the quiet of the dawn,
Whispers stir beneath the leaves,
Ancient voices softly drawn,
In the wind that sighs and grieves.

Through the earth beneath my feet,
Echoes rise from roots below,
Heart and soil slowly meet,
In the rhythm waters know.

Oh, call of the wild,
Pulling me back home,
To the earth so undefiled,
Where the spirits freely roam.

Shadows dance on moss and stone,
Guiding me through memory’s maze,
I am never quite alone,
In the forest’s sacred gaze.

Feel the pulse beneath the ground,
Hear the whisper of the trees,
Lost and found without a sound,
In the breath of ancient seas.

Oh, call of the wild,
Pulling me back home,
To the earth so undefiled,
Where the spirits freely roam.

In the stillness, I am known,
One with all that’s ever been,
Roots and spirit fully grown,
In nature’s timeless hymn.
