On Monday night, Laura Ingraham came to the defense of Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) over an anonymous sexual assault allegation made against him.

Over the weekend, an accuser wrote a letter alleging that Booker forced him into a restroom in 2014 and assaulted him.

Well, after using some of Booker’s own words about how all accusers of sexual assault should be believed like the ones made about Justice Brett Kavanaugh, Ingraham showed hesitancy to jump to conclusions.

“We don’t raise this issue because we automatically assume it has credibility,” Ingraham told her viewers. “I don’t like anonymous allegations. We actually think everyone should wait for the details to come in before we say something like this, right?”

The Fox News host told her panel that they ” don’t lend much if any credence” to anonymous accusations without more details, adding that “if you’re going to make an allegation like this, you have to put your name to it.”
