🇺🇸| 💧 Severe Flooding in Hurley, Virginia: Emergency Declared

🌧|⚠️ On February 15, 2025, a powerful storm system triggered deadly flooding across four U.S. states. Western Tennessee, Southern Kentucky, and areas near the West Virginia-Virginia border have been severely impacted.

🔴 In Hurley, Virginia, rescue operations are ongoing as streets remain underwater, transportation is disrupted, and water levels remain dangerously high.
🔴 Some regions received 5 to 8 inches (127–203 mm) of rainfall, with more expected in the coming days.
🔴 Tennessee and Kentucky have issued precautionary evacuations, and emergency shelters have been opened. A nursing home in Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee, near the Kentucky border, was evacuated.
🔴 Despite a temporary decrease in rainfall, the flood threat remains, as river levels continue to rise, and no immediate receding is expected.

Residents in affected areas are strongly advised to follow official instructions and stay in safe locations.
