Thousands Of Federal Health Agency Employees Fired By Trump Administration

Thousands of workers across numerous federal health agencies were fired over the weekend, according to a letter that was revealed by one of the employees that was terminated.
The letter states "Unfortunately, the Agency finds that you are not fit for continued employment because your ability, knowledge and skills do not fit the Agency's current needs, and your performance has not been adequate to justify further employment at the Agency."
The letter was signed by Jeffrey Anoka, who acting head of human resources for HHS. According to reports, thousands of letters were sent out on Saturday.
Some agencies have been granted exemptions including the CDC's Epidemic Intelligence Service.
