Today, we will visit the ancient Roman Forum Boarium and see what it looked like in the 4th century CE. This forum was located in the Velabrum area, at the foot of the Palatine and Capitoline hills. Ancient legends were associated with this place, recounting events tied to the founding of Rome. According to tradition, Hercules defeated the monster Cacus here long before the foundation of Rome. It was also here that the cradle carrying Romulus and Remus was brought ashore by the river flow. Important temples and altars were located here, some of which have survived to this day.

This is 'History in 3D', and we are creating the most detailed, accurate, and complete 3D reconstruction of ancient Rome!
