Life in the Marshall Islands

Life on Jaluit Atoll in the Marshall Islands is a testament to resilience, faith, and community. With no running water, limited electricity, and short-range radio as the only means of communication, the Marshallese people face daily challenges that many of us can hardly imagine. Yet, amidst these hardships, there is a profound sense of hope, unity, and unwavering faith.

In 2019, our team had the privilege of joining Nixon Jabnil, a local translator and church lay leader, on an inspiring journey around the atoll. We visited the four Salvation Army corps (churches) scattered across these remote islands, witnessing firsthand how faith thrives in even the most isolated corners of the world.

This video captures the beauty of Jaluit Atoll, the strength of its people, and the power of God's work in their lives. From heartfelt worship to acts of service, you’ll see how the Marshallese community leans on their faith to overcome challenges and build a brighter future.

Join us as we explore the incredible stories of hope, resilience, and divine connection in this remote Pacific paradise. Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more inspiring journeys of faith around the world!
