Another One of my Fav Episodes from this season of the 90's Sailor Moon Series,which I defentially remember this episode too Well when I first saw this on Cartoon Network's Toonami Block back in the day back in 2000!

This was one of Minako's (Sailor Venus's) Character Growth Focused Episodes,which in this one,we get a heavy backstory on Minako's Former Vollyball School Team Crush "Asai",which he ends up becoming the Next Target Victim for the "Death Busters"/Heart Crystal Snatchers!

and this episode is perfect to watch during Valentines Day weekend:P

Yep! Season 3 was Quite Something,which many Lives were at Stake with this Season's Darker Undertones,there is a very good reason why in later years why both Digimon Tamers (Digimon Season 3) and Power Rangers Time Force,were often compared to Sailor Moon S (Sailor Moon Season 3),dued to those Franchise's particular seasons also having very dark undertones,and it also helps alot too that both "Digimon Tamers" and "Power Rangers Time Force" (especially it's Super Sentai Counterpart GogoV) were also produced by the Toei Company.

"Minako is despondent about her life as a Sailor Guardian and being Sailor Venus. Meanwhile, an old friend of hers is attacked by a Daimon."

"Leaving school, Minako begins feeling like her responsibilities as a sailor guardian are getting in the way of her personal life. She becomes jealous of the couples she sees, wondering when love will find her. Her thoughts are interrupted by a stray volleyball at her feet. She looks up to see an old teammate, Asai, standing in the school gymnasium's doorway. He asks why Minako never returned to the volleyball team after coming back from England, to which Minako responds by mentioning she has other duties now. Asai mentions that he's practicing all throughout summer for the championships, and is called back into practice by his coach."

"At their lab, Professor Tomoe alludes to disposing of Kaolinite if she keeps failing, and mentions that all this work has been taking a toll on his body. He recalls that healthy hearts reside in healthy bodies, and decides to target athletes with his current daimon egg."
