Columbine High School Helped Female Student Change Status to ‘Homeless’
so she Could Move in With Predatory Teacher

In a disturbing case that has rocked Jefferson County, Colorado, school officials at Columbine High School are under fire for helping a 17-year-old student conceal her whereabouts from her parents and assisting her in falsifying federal documentation to facilitate moving in with a teacher.

District investigators revealed that social studies teacher Leann Kearney was allegedly grooming the female student, leading to an inappropriate relationship that school administrators not only failed to stop but actively helped conceal from the girl’s family.

School counselors deliberately assisted the student in declaring herself homeless on federal forms, enabling her to move in with Kearney while keeping her parents uninformed of the situation.
