Harvesting for the Kingdom of God

Sermon on Luke 10:1-16 - Lords Day February 16th, 2025 - Trinity Reformed Church.
The duty of all Christians is to evangelize. To preach the Gospel. The preachers equip the saints. To call all men to submit to God. They can be saved if they receive the Gospel. The harvest is great but the laborers are few.

We are harvesting men for the kingdom of God. Many people will believe the Gospel V2. Luke 4:18

1. Indispensable need of prayer V2 - therefore pray the Lord of the harvest send out laborers. Gods power is unleashed through prayer. James 5:16 , Ephesians 6, in all prayer and all supplication, Acts 6:4, Acts 22.
2. 2. We will have tribulation Phil 1:29 Be on guard for false teachers. V3
3. The steadfast focus - The priority is the Gospel - do not let the world eat up your time.
4. The Spirit if contentment. V4 - 1 Corinth 9:11,14 - don't get caught up in making money or the praise of men or a comfortable lifestyle.. 1 Phil 4:11-12
