13 young female Bottlenose Dolphins stolen

Captive selection of the Bottlenose dolphins that were driven into the Cove yesterday and kept there overnight was done. The trainers who came belong to Taiji Whale Museum and Dolphin Resort. And it seems that there was another unknown trainer(s).
The pod was larger than estimated 50 yesterday and may have numbered about 70+, including several calves.
After about 4 hours of rough capturing and sorting, 13 captives were captured for dolphin show: 9 were to the Taiji Harbor and 4 were to Moriura Bay. Most likely they were young, good looking and docile females.
Today, the rest of the family was not killed and all were released, but there is no proof that the plundered ones from the pod were not nursing mother dolphins.
After all, many pods with mothers and calves are sacrificed.
Taiji dolphin hunters attack the pods of dolphins/small whales that are carefully raising the babies in a maternal society, whom only one born once every few years.
Why does Japan have the right to take wild dolphins that were simply migrating off the coast of Taiji from their families and use them for human entertainments and to exterminate the entire pods?
Dolphins/small whales are captured and sold one after another in Taiji, even though it is well known that they suffer from mental and physical diseases and live very short lives in artificial, narrow concrete tanks.
This is because people are eager to see the dolphin shows. Demand creates supply. This is the aquarium business.
Even though the international community is becoming more and more mainstream to ban dolphin breeding itself !!
Dolphin show enthusiasts are as cruel as the dolphin trainers who sort out the dolphins’ LIVES in the Cove.
Should be ashamed of oneself.
If you love dolphins, please be a defender of them by correctly knowing the cruel underside of aquariums and dolphin shows.

昨日コーヴ追い込まれ一晩留め置かれたバンドウイルカたちの生け捕り個体の選別が行われました。選別にやって来たのは、太地くじらの博物館とドルフィン•リゾートのトレーナー達。そして他に見知らぬどこかのトレーナーもいたようです。
この群れの数は昨日推定されたより多く、幼い子どもたちを含み70頭余いたかもしれません。
約4時間の手荒い捕獲と選別の末、イルカショー用に販売する13頭が生け捕りにされました。9頭は太地港の生け簀へ、4頭は森浦湾の生け簀へ。おそらくは、ほとんどが若くて見栄え良くおとなしい雌でしょう。
今日は残りの家族の殺害はなく全頭リリースとなりましたが、群れから略奪された彼女たちが育児中の母イルカではないという確証はどこにもありません。
やはり、母子のいる群れが多く犠牲になります。
太地では、数年に一度1頭しか生まれない子どもを母系社会で大切に育てているイルカたちの家族が襲われるのです。
太地沖をただ回遊していただけの野生イルカたちを家族から奪って娯楽に利用したり、追い込んだ群れを全滅させる権利がなぜ日本にあるのですか？
イルカたちは人工的な狭いコンクリートプールでは心身を病み数年しか生きられないことが充分わかっているのに、太地で次々と捕らわれ売られています。
イルカショーを見たがる人がいるからです。
需要が供給を生んでいます。
これが水族館ビジネスです。
国際社会ではイルカ飼育そのものの禁止が主流となってきているというのに。
イルカショー愛好家は、
コーヴで命を選り分けるイルカトレーナーと同じくらいの残酷な人たちです。
恥じてください。
イルカが好きなら、
水族館やイルカショーの残酷な裏側を正しく知って、イルカたちを守る側の人になってください。
