In Seventh-day Adventism, being filled with the Holy Spirit is a daily experience that involves allowing the Spirit to fill every aspect of a person's life. It's a continuous action, not a one-time event.
How is it experienced?
It's a way to be empowered to live as God intended
It's a way to be controlled by the Spirit
It's a way to be filled with God's presence
It's a way to be guided by the Spirit to Christ
How is it achieved?
By asking, seeking, and knocking for the Spirit
By praying for the baptism of the Holy Spirit
By committing all aspects of life to the Spirit
By allowing the Spirit to fill every part of life
What does it mean?
It means that the Spirit possesses more of a person, not that the person possesses more of the Spirit
It means that a person is allowing the Spirit to fill their entire life
It means that a person is being controlled by the Spirit
