The Reality of the Nature of God

Summary - There is no escaping that true devotion toward God, Christ, and the Kingdom of God demands exclusive commitment from believers. God wants you to look to Him to be your soul and your sole provider. In essence, have an exclusive relationship. This can be extremely difficult to achieve on a daily basis due to the multiple avenues that are designed to divide our loyalties. But, only undivided faith in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior will lead to spiritual salvation and ultimate fulfillment through a personal relationship with Him and the Heavenly Father.

What we have to combat is that this principle of ‘true devotion’ challenges the plethora of modern day distractions that compete for a believer’s time and attention that can be devoted to Christ and God. There needs to be a deep settled commitment inside the spirit of every believer to focus and devote themselves to Christ and to God. Will all of our problems resolve overnight? No. Will we mess up and sin during this time? Yes. But the worst thing we can do is to run away from Christ when we fall. This dedication and focus to transform our lives does not happen only in good times. It happens through the good and the bad on a daily basis. Jesus and the Heavenly Father don’t want your loyalty, focus, devotion and exclusive worship from you when you feel good or when life is on the right track. They want you just as you are, regardless of your current condition, and they want you today. That’s how they reached out to all of us, and how they will continue to do so. Come to them today. God Bless You!
