New Kid on stage at TOY deals with bullying

New Kid is the title of the latest offering from the Theatre of Youth. The play deals with bulling, immigration and change. Creative Director Meg Quinn says the play was actually written thirty seven year ago and has een performed world-wide. The story revolves around Nick a New Kid who move to America from a place called Homeland. In the play Nick and his mother peak English while the two American kids speak gibberish. Meg Quin says this was a brilliant plan by the playwright, adding "so the audience feels the same kind of frustration and worry bout what's being said that the characters feel."
